About Marina Shurova, DDS

Due to her excellent academic and clinical record, she was elected to participate in the CDM Honors Program and received awards in several dental disciplines. In the final year of her studies, Dr. Shurova was offered a membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, National Dental Honor Society for demonstrating an outstanding scholarship, service, and potential to make a significant contribution to the profession of dentistry. She then completed her residency at Kings County Hospital, a level one trauma center in Brooklyn NY. There she received extensive training in emergency treatment, implant surgery, and aesthetics. Dr. Shurova is a certified Invisalign® provider. Born in Siberia, Russia, Dr. Shurova came to the United States in pursuit of the American dream when she was 21. She started working in New York City as a dental assistant, then practiced dental hygiene with tremendous exposure to orthodontics and finally received her DDS degree. Dr. Shurova truly believes that hard work and dedication helped her to achieve her goals. Her vision is to provide the highest quality comprehensive dental care in a community where she can make a difference for her patients. Conservative tooth structure preservation and restoration of function that last are the primary focus. Dr. Shurova will also ensure every experience is a positive one from a basic exam and a cleaning to the most challenging full mouth reconstruction. She will take her time to listen to your wishes and concerns in order to provide the best dental service within her capabilities. In her spare time, Dr. Shurova enjoys scuba diving, Argentine tango dancing and traveling with her family.
