About Lucy Johnson, DDS
Dr. Lucy Johnson was born and raised in East Lansing, and graduated from Michigan State University’s Honors College with a degree in Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the historic University of Maryland School of Dentistry, known for being the first dental school in the world. She completed a clerkship in oral surgery and received an award from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for her work with dental implants. After dental school, Dr. Johnson completed an additional year of training at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she focused on surgical, implant and prosthetic treatment. Dr. Johnson continues to expand on her education by attending study clubs and courses on endodontics, dental implant restorations and cosmetics. She is passionate about providing quality dental care, restoring oral health and bringing confidence to her patients. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Washtenaw District Dental Society. She is an advocate for organized dentistry and is excited to get more involved at the local and state level. Dr. Johnson resides in Ann Arbor, where she loves enjoying all of the restaurants and activities that the city has to offer. She is always quick to remind everyone that despite living a few steps away from The Big House, she is an avid Michigan State fan. She loves cheering on her Spartans, waterskiing, golfing and cooking.
