About Lisa M. Morris, MD
Dr. Lisa Morris is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Craniofacial Surgeon who focuses solely on plastic surgery of the face, head and neck in both adults and children. She is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with 7 years of surgical training focused specifically in the region of the face, head and neck. Procedures she performs include rhinoplasty (nose job), facial rejuvenation (face lift and neck lift), brow lift, upper and lower eyelid surgery, otoplasty (ear reshaping) and ear lobe reconstruction, facial implants, skin cancer and Moh’s surgery reconstruction, traumatic injury reconstruction of the face, scar revision, and treatment for congenital abnormalities of the face and head. She also performs non-surgical interventions such as botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, injectable dermal fillers, laser treatment and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Morris grew up outside of Kansas City and graduated with honors from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she was president of her class and awarded membership into both Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed a 5-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health Science University. She subspecialized in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, spending a year-long fellowship at SUNY Upstate working with Drs. Robert Kellman and Sherard Tatum, focusing on all aspects of plastic surgery for the face: cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery after cancer or traumatic injury and treatment of congenital abnormalities. She then completed a second fellowship with Drs. Louis Morales, Jr. and Rodney Schmelzer in Salt Lake City, UT. Under their mentorship, Dr. Morris honed her skills in treating children with severe craniofacial abnormalities and advanced her skills further in cosmetic surgery. She was invited to join them as an Associate in 2014. Dr. Morris is an active member of medical organizations including: American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, American Society of Craniofacial Surgery, American Medical Association, Craniomaxillofacial Subcommittee of the AAFPRS, AO/ASIF, Utah Medical Association, and the Salt Lake County Medical Society. Dr. Morris is actively involved in international surgical mission trips and has traveled to 5 countries treating children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial deformities. When not at work or on a medical mission, she enjoys the outdoors and is excited to call Salt Lake City home.
