About Kurt K. Weber, DDS
Doc Weber was an Honors Student at Saint Louis University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Chemistry and Business Certificate. Doc earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Dentistry. After dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Medical Center. That training included clinical rotations at the University of Kansas Medical Center as well as the University of Missouri Medical Center and other affiliated Hospitals. As a Resident, he taught Biomaterials to dental and dental hygiene students at UMKC and continues today to train dental assistants for several Assisting Schools in the greater Tampa Bay area. He received his Diplomate in the American Accademy of Osseointegration in the early 1990’s and incorporates a variety of surgical and cosmetic techniques into daily practice. He was one of the frst wave of general practitioners to become Invisalign Certified in 2002 and continues to expand his general practice orthodontics in daily practice. Kurt was the first in his family to enter the dental profession after a lifelong interest beginning in Kindergarten. Interests include surfing and hockey as well as his lifelong interest in graphic arts and cartooning. Doc Weber is an accomplished award winning cartoonist with five years editorial cartoon experience at two newspapers. He continues to publish cartoons as professional obligations permit.
