About Kristin Edwards, DDS
A Richmond native, Dr. Kristin Edwards attended James River High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Virginia and the VCU School of Dentistry (formerly MCV). During her studies at VCU, she was elected student body president, representing the VCU dental students at both the state and national level. After graduating dental school, Dr. Edwards practiced near her husband in Fredericksburg, VA. While there, they realized how much they missed Richmond, and they have excitedly returned to her hometown. Dr. Edwards loves all aspects of dentistry and knows it’s important to build a relationship of trust. She takes time to educate her patients and craft their treatment plan together, so they can achieve a beautiful smile and maintain it for a lifetime. She feels it is crucial to stay current on the latest health and dental trends and is a member of the Richmond Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She has attended dental mission trips in SW Virginia and Jamaica. Her husband, Justin, is a pediatric dentist and aside from discussing teeth, they love to travel, try new restaurants, and enjoy the outdoors with their rescue dogs Eddie and Ellie. They reside in the Fan.
