About Kevin Light, DO
Dr. Light attended Michigan State University, earn¬ing his BS in Biochemistry. He received an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and attended medical school at Des Moines University. Dr. Light received his board certification in general surgery and served internationally with the US Air Force for several years. He attended the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine and, as a Flight Surgeon, flew several missions in F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraft throughout the US and Europe. He was Chief of Surgery during extended assignments in England, Germany, the Kingdom of Jordan, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and several U.S. bases. Dr. Light was among the first surgical teams deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm and received two Air Force Commendation Medals honoring his service to our country. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Light trained in cosmetic surgery with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and has a very active cosmetic surgery practice in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Light is also a recognized authority in Age Management, Integrative and Functional Medicine. He is a Diplomat of American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine and fellowship certified in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine. He lectures internationally teaching doctors and patients alike the power of prevention and wellness – greatly enhancing quality of life. He was also trained in stem cell therapies in Thailand and by U.S. Stem Cell Inc.
