About Joshua Spanogle, MD
Dr. Spanogle is a fellowship trained Mohs Surgeon specializing in skin cancer removal and reconstruction. He practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area prior to joining Advanced Dermatology in Jacksonville. Dr. Spanogle received his undergraduate degree from Yale University. He received his medical degree at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship in Internal Medicine. Following a residency in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, Dr. Spanogle completed a Fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Spanogle has published numerous academic papers and other academic writings. He is Board Certified in Dermatology, and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of dermatology. In addition to being a Dermatologic Surgeon, Dr. Spanogle is the author of two novels, both of which were San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times bestsellers. Isolation Ward was published in 2006, and Flawless in 2007.
