About Joseph F. Shea, DDS
To me, a big part of prosthodontics is about giving patients back their quality of life. You may not think about dentistry that way, but replacing teeth… creating a pleasing smile… giving a patient a better bite is more than just aesthetic. People are able to enjoy eating again. They speak more clearly. They gain self-confidence. That’s why I spend time planning your care before we start anything. You’ll come away from the practice knowing we are going to do it well, we are going to do it right and we are going to do it so it will last. Everyone in our office takes their part in treatment very seriously. But at the same time we try to practice in a relaxed environment. We also work hard to ensure you understand every part of your care, especially in cases where there are multiple doctors involved across a range of dental specialties. Finally, I understand you may be concerned about the work you’re having done. I am just as concerned, not only about how your smile will look and function today, but how it will look and function years from now. That is the measure of true success.
