About John Bergeron, MD
John Bergeron MD is a native Texan and was born and raised just south of Houston in Galveston County. He attended high school at San Marcos Academy and then obtained his undergraduate degree in bio-chemistry from Texas A&M University. He attended Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center located in Houston. Dr. Bergeron is a cosmetic surgeon and a specialist in liposuction surgery. He performs only tumescent liposuction under local anesthetic which is considered by many experts to be the safest and least invasive form of liposuction. He has performed thousands of liposuction procedures and continues to be one of the most requested surgeons in the region. He was also one of the first doctors in the country trained in performing SmartLipo, laser assisted liposuction. He is now one of the most experienced doctors in the nation performing this procedure.
