About John A. Atlas, DDS
Dr. Atlas has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years, enjoying his service to West Milford and its surrounding towns. He is originally a native of Queens, New York. Dr. Atlas attended Xavier High School in New York City where he learned his sense of community and service to others. He earned his Bachelors Degree from New York University, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree also at NYU. Dr. Atlas received two prestigious honors among his other accolades from New York University, College of Dentistry- The International College of Dentist's Award and also the Robert A Sussman Memorial Award for clinical excellence in operative dentistry and humanitarian values in patient care. Dr. Atlas continues to stay in the forefront in technology and education. He is on the teaching staff at Northwell Health--Staten Island University Hospital since 1997 and a member of the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. He is also a member of the ADA, AGD and AAID. The Consumer's Research Council of America has listed him in their guide to America's Top Dentists for the past 10 consecutive years. Dr. Atlas has also been awarded multiple top doctor honors, and has been named to Trademarks-Who Who. In the field of dentistry. Dr. Atlas is the proud father of three beautiful children. Olivia age 13, Avery age 8 and their son Grayson, 5. Also, Dr. Atlas recently celebrated his 16-year wedding anniversary to his wonderful wife, Deena.
