About Ginard I. Henry, MD
Ginard Henry, MD, is board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery with an accredited subspecialty in hand surgery. He has been in practice for over 12 years beginning in academia at the University of Chicago for eight years, then in a large-scale group practice with Kaiser Permanente in southern California for three years and now at Spectrum Health Lakeland. Dr. Henry obtained his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco; his general surgery training from the University of California, Irvine; his plastic surgery training from University of Southern California; and Hand and Microsurgery training at the San Antonio Hand Center. His work and expertise have also been published in several journals, books, online and magazine articles. He has received previous awards for teaching, research and academic excellence. Dr. Henry is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
