About Gerel Emgushova, DMD
Dr. Gerel Emgushova was born and raised in Russia before moving to Philadelphia. After graduating at the top of her High School class, Dr. Emgushova attended Pennsylvania State University where she received a Bachelors degree in Science and Neurobiology. Then, she was selected to do a fellowship at the National Institute of Health/Craniofacial and Dental Clinic In Bethesda working with patients with rare genetic conditions. After, she attended Temple University Kornbergh School of Dentistry for her dental degree. Dr. Emgushova received the award of Outstanding Clinical Student and the Endodontic Honors Award before graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013. Dr. Emgushova believes that dentistry is her profession, but people are her real focus. She treats patients with experience, comfort, and compassion to make sur they get the smile they always wanted. When she is not doing dentistry or running after her two little boy, she enjoy traveling, cooking, and doing DIY projects.
