About Gerald L. Yospur, MD
Dr. Yospur was born and raised in the industrial North of England. The influences of both British and American culture have placed him in a unique position. He understands the desire for European class and the American strive for perfection. His ambition is to help his patients achieve their dreams in a caring and compassionate fashion. As a Plastic Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Yospur has not only trained in the precision sculpting of the human form, but the ART of all that is possible. Educated at the University of California in San Diego, he graduated cum laude with honors and received a bachelor of arts degree in animal physiology. He obtained his medical degree at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He then returned to California to do an internship and residency program in general surgery at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. After moving to the Southwest, Dr. Yospur successfully completed his residency in plastic surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. To further pursue his education, he secured a fellowship in surgery of the hand, a complex subspecialty of plastic surgery. This fellowship was conducted with the Division of Hand Surgery at Maricopa Integrated Health System in Phoenix, Arizona.
