About Farrah Louviere, Aesthetician Specialist
Farrah Louviere has had a lifelong interest in medicine and the human body. Opening The Retreat Spa is a dream-come-true for Farrah, who’s always envisioned owning a wellness center or spa where she can individually analyze the needs of each client, taking them through a customized, results-oriented journey. Louviere is a licensed esthetician certified by Houston’s Aveda Institute, and has been a massage therapist for more than 10 years, specializing in sports massage, Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and therapeutic massage. She got her start at Memorial Hermann Hospital treating athletes with sports-related injuries. While at Memorial Hermann, she also helped found a women’s health program focused on breast cancer survivors with lymphedema, eventually becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. With such a diverse background, Farrah prides herself in making sure her guests not only leave relaxed and rejuvenated, but also better informed on how to care for their body or skin. Balancing her passion for wellness with her passion for her family, Louviere spends time camping, fishing and cooking with her husband and business partner, Terral, and their three children.
