About Emily Johnson, DDS
Dr. Johnson always loved visiting her own dentist when she was growing up and is excited to now have her own practice! She loves the rewarding feeling that comes from helping patients, especially when serving those who have been unsatisfied in the past or who have dental fears. Dr. Johnson received her Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University. She then graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry with honors, and began teaching at the school as a member of the dental faculty. Though she enjoyed teaching and working with dental students, Dr. Johnson found her true passion in working one-on-one with her patients to create healthy smiles! She loves the variety and the challenges of general dentistry and enjoys working with great specialists to deliver the best care possible to children as well as adults. As a “born-and-raised St. Louis girl” who values her family very much, she is delighted to be able to practice in her hometown. It is true that dental offices are not all created equal and Dr. Johnson feels blessed to be a part of the wonderful, energetic team at Magnolia Dental! Dr. Johnson is an active member of many local and national dental organizations. She regularly attends meetings for local dental study clubs and continuing education seminars. In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys being outdoors, gardening, attending concerts, and exploring the shops and restaurants of our neighborhood. Her passion for quality dentistry, her strong values, genuine compassion for her patients, and lighthearted sense of humor make her a great part of the team.
