About Elizabeth M. Grimm, DDS
Before joining Barton Oaks Dental Group in 2008, I received my D.D.S. from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio then advanced education with a general practice residency. In 2016, I received board certification in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine and Naturopathy. My interests are in biological dentistry, dental technology, and cosmetics. As a biological dentist I think in terms of overall health, incorporating research in biology, chemistry, and quantum physics. This plays out in how I choose materials, look at periodontal health, tooth decay, collapsed bites, and head and neck pain. I utilize Invisalign, ozone therapy, safe metal removal techniques and also give alternative options to fluoride. I use state-of-the-art equipment while maintaining classic proven methods. I love that dentistry is a beautiful blend of art, science and very promising new horizon of techniques that benefit the whole body’s sense of wellbeing.” Dr. Grimm spends much of her free time with her friends and family, cycling around Austin, enjoying live music, and rowing on Lady Bird Lake. Dr. Grimm participates as a dentist with the Smile Foundation and the HAAM program for local musicians. She also cycles on a team for the Hill Country Ride for AIDS and the Wounded Soldier Project.
