About Elizabeth A. Arthur, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Arthur is a native of Scottsville, NY. She attended St. Pius Tenth in Chili and St. Agnes High School. Liz graduated from Villanova University with Honors in Biology. She then graduated from Hahnemann University Medical School with many honors. After completing medical school, Dr. Arthur initially began her residency in Internal Medicine, however decided to change to Dermatology. After completing her residency, she returned to Rochester to be closer to her family. Dr. Arthur is Board Certified in Dermatology and is faculty at Rochester General and Strong Memorial Hospital teaching medical students and residents. She has conducted multiple clinical trials on acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, glycolic acid, and BOTOX. In April 2004, Dr. Arthur opened her solo Dermatology practice and medical spa. The practice, Helendale Dermatology and Medical Spa, is located off Empire Boulevard and 590 in the old Laurelton School on Helendale Road. Dr. Arthur has tried to maintain the style of the building by incorporating many antiques into the décor. Dr. Arthur is proud of the warm and home-like atmosphere of her office. She takes pride in the staff that over the years have become family and friends. Dr. Arthur is active in the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children/NY (NCMEC). She served on the Board of Directors from 2012 to 2014. Dr. Arthur lives in Scottsville with her husband Michael and two children Abigail and Evan.
