About Dorian L. Gravenese, MD
Dorian Gravenese, M.D. earned her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed her post-graduate training at Yale-New Haven Hospital in general medicine and at The New York Hospital-Weill Cornell for her dermatology training. Dr. Gravenese has authored a chapter in the 1996 publication of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention as well as several articles in popular sports and family magazines. Dr. Gravenese is board-certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The New York Presbyterian Hospital and a Clinical Instructor at Weill Cornell Medical College. Her clinical interests include the prevention and early detection of skin cancer. In addition to her expertise in detecting skin cancers, she has nearly two decades of experience in dermatologic surgery and a variety of cosmetic procedures including various skin peels, botox injections and laser skin rejuvenation.
