About Derek J. Conover, DMD
An expert in complex, full mouth dentistry, Dr. Conover works with the best clinicians in the world to stay on the cutting-edge of dental medicine. He advocates for continued education and advanced learning both for himself and his staff. He believes excellence in the fundamentals is the key to delivering great dentistry. As a practitioner, Dr. Conover meets his patients where they need him the most. As a clinician with expertise in conservative and adhesive dentistry, Dr. Conover is committed to using the latest dental materials and technologies. Dr. Conover is actively involved in several study clubs in the city, including the Spear Study group, which reviews complex, comprehensive cases with colleagues from several dental specialties. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association, and currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia County He has also co-written several surgical case studies for publication and was a contributing author for the book First Aid for the National Board Dental Exam. Dr. Conover received his BS from Loyola University and his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his MBA at Penn’s Wharton School of Business, where he majored in Healthcare Management. Dr. Conover lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Joanna, and their two children. Dr. Conover bikes to work and is on a never-ending quest to make the perfect cup of coffee.
