About Daryle J. Mahnke, DDS
Daryle Mahnke, DDS is a family dentist in Bay City, Michigan. Dr. Mahnke and his team are committed to providing you with quality care in a courteous manner and a friendly atmosphere. We place a strong emphasis on patient education so you can feel confident that the decisions made are the best ones for your long term dental health and happiness. One of the things that sets us apart from other dentists in Bay City is our comprehensive examinations. We go beyond a visual inspection of the teeth to look at the entire occlusal system and screen for problems or signs of instability. Dr. Mahnke started his professional career as an electrical engineer. After graduating from GMI Engineering and Management Institute (now Kettering University) in Flint, MI, Dr. Mahnke worked for General Motors designing engine computers for the corporation’s V-6 engines. After more than a decade at General Motors, Dr. Mahnke decided to make a change. With the encouragement of his wife Joanne, Dr. Mahnke began studying at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After graduation in 2006, Dr. Mahnke completed an additional year of training in a General Practice Residency at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Ann Arbor. During that year, Dr. Mahnke received additional training in many areas of dentistry including oral surgery, treating patients with complex medical conditions as well as refining his general dentistry skills. Dr. Mahnke annually attends more Continuing Education than is required to continually expand his knowledge and to treat the needs of his patients. Dr. Mahnke has studied at The Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies. Our philosophy of dentistry involves treating the mouth as a system that includes stable and pain-free joints, muscles, healthy bone and gums, and teeth.
