About Darren Chugg, DMD
Dr. Darren Chugg loves his profession and the opportunity of providing for your family’s dental health. For Dr. Chugg, providing the most friendly, affordable and quality dental experience for his patients is always top priority. He provides all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, fillings, extractions, implant restoration, crown and bridge, root canals, and invisalign. Dr. Chugg graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Idaho with degrees in International Studies and Spanish. During his undergraduate studies, he studied abroad in Guatemala and Costa Rica learning Spanish. Before attending dental school, Dr Chugg studied at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy graduating with High honors. Practicing as a pharmacist for several years, provided great experience relating to patients and their needs. Driving his decision to become a dentist was his desire to help more people achieve great oral and general health! Dr. Chugg completed his dental training at Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ graduating as the Salutatorian. Dr Chugg continues to learn the best and most up to date in dentistry by taking more than 100 hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Chugg has been caring for patients for the last several years in Arizona. Dr. Chugg enjoys treating patients of all ages and forming new friendships with them. He is passionate about creating dental health treatment plans that are individually tailored to restore and maintain strong teeth, healthy gums, and a beautiful lasting smile. Each patient is treated as family, focusing on their most important needs first. Dr. Chugg is the proud father of three boys, Owen, Jayden and Simon. He has been married eighteen years to his lovely wife, Stephanie. Dr. Chugg enjoys spending time with his family on vacations to new and exciting places. His personal hobbies are lecturing on dentistry and pharmacology, gardening, wood carving, running, biking, hiking, and learning more hobbies.
