About Craig C. Clabaugh, DMD
Dr. Clabaugh was born in Cleveland/Shaker Heights, Ohio and moved to Easton, CT during his teen years. He attended Joel Barlow High School where he played trumpet in the band and also played on the golf team. Dr. Clabaugh’s orthodontist encouraged him to consider dentistry as a career. Dr. Clabaugh graduated from The University of Connecticut at Storrs and The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine at Farmington. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree as an Honors Scholar in Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude, in 1978. He joined Delta Chi fraternity and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa among other honors. In 1982, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, earning the C.V. Mosby Book Award for scholarship and excellence in clinical services. He completed a general practice residency at West Virginia University at Morgantown in 1983 and then returned to Connecticut where he joined the current practice that same year. He and his wife are the parents of 2 children and reside in Wilton. Dr. Clabaugh remains an avid golfer and enjoys cooking and traveling with his family and friends.
