About Christopher J. Holland, DDS

With a quarter century of dentistry experience under his belt, Dr. Holland earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1990. He studied at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio which has ranked in the American Dental Association’s top 20 dental programs. Dr. Holland completed a General Practice Residency on Scott Air Force Base in Illinois after which he returned to San Antonio and entered private practice at New Image Dentistry. Changes in dental practice and technology are constant, and Dr. Holland knows the value of continuing education. Over the last 25 years, he has worked to improve cosmetic and restorative dentistry skills. Keeping up with changing technology, Dr. Holland has also studied implant dentistry, Invisalign, sedation dentistry, and obstructive sleep apnea treatment. He believes the only way to provide superior care to his patients is knowing what treatments are available and developing his abilities as a practitioner. San Antonio magazine named Dr. Holland one of their top dentists because he provides his patients with a wide array of top-tier oral health care services utilizing state-of-the-art dental technologies like teeth-in-a-day, digital x-rays and Velscope oral cancer detection. Dr. Holland maintains memberships in numerous professional organizations, and is dedicated to completing more than the required annual continuing education hours. Dr. Holland is also consistently recognized as one of the best dentists in San Antonio by his peers. Outside of work, Dr. Holland is happily married to Jane, who you may see around the office as well. They have two grown daughters. Their eldest is a physical therapist in Austin, and their youngest studies optometry at the University of Houston.
