About Bert M. Kaufman
Dr. Bert Kaufman completed four years of dental school, receiving a DDS degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1982. He completed a General Practice Hospital Dentistry Residency Program at the Veterans Administration, West Los Angeles Medical Center, followed by a two year residency in Advanced Prosthodontics. Dr Kaufman returned to UCLA for an additional residency program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics. Dr. Kaufman is a trained maxillofacial prosthodontist, specializing in the esthetic restoration and replacement of teeth. He also specializes in the care of head and neck trauma and cancer patients. He now teaches post-gradate courses in crown and bridgework and sleep apnea treatment at the Veterans Administration West Los Angeles Medical Center.Dr. Kaufman has over 20 years of volunteer service at the Wildlife Waystation and L.A. Zoo, providing care to large exotic animals (mostly lions, tigers and bears). He was also recently selected as a Top Doctor in Woodland Hills by the International Association of Dentists (IAD)!
