About Benjamin P. Lievense, DDS
Dr. Benjamin Lievense graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2019 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He is new to the Midland community following graduation, and has been working with the Helping Hands clinic here in town. He has worked in multiple communities throughout the state through his dental school career including the Victors for Veterans clinic in Traverse City, the Alcott community clinic in Kalamazoo, and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. He learned of Dr. Cadotte’s practice through a mutual friend, and was soon after added to the team! Dr. Lievense grew up on the west side of the state in Zeeland, Michigan. He moved to Detroit in 2010 to attend the University of Detroit Mercy to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Following graduation, he went straight to dental school and moved to Ann Arbor. Dr. Lievense learned about Midland through a friend who grew up in the Tri-city area. After multiple visits, he was sold on the area. Dr. Lievense is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Saginaw Valley Dental Society. His interests include tennis, hockey, and especially downhill skiing.When you don’t see Dr. Lievense in the office, you might run into him while walking around downtown Midland, catching a Red Wings game in Detroit, or skiing up north!
