About Amy Mcmahan, DDS
Dr. Amy McMahan graduated cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2001 while on a Naval Scholarship. After completing a General Practice Residency (an additional year of training in complex dental procedures in a hospital setting) at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, she completed her naval service at NAS Lemoore, CA. While serving her country, Dr. McMahan received distinguished service medals including a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, a National Defense Service Medal and a Meritorious Unit Commendation. She then practiced as a general dentist in Fairfax, VA for three years where she provided dental care to the Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals and has now been practicing in Jacksonville for more than ten years. Dr. McMahan is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality of dental care using the most advanced techniques, state of the art technology, and quality materials. She provides a wide array of services to both children and adults, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), oral surgery, prosthodontics (replacement of missing teeth) and pediatric dentistry. Dr. McMahan has a strong commitment to continuing education to ensure a healthy smile for her patients.
