Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. Literally every single person in this office that I've had the pleasure of talking to was SO personable & kind, yet professional & knowledgable in their craft. Had I not left NY, I would be with them forever. —Vivian N,Overall Care Review

Invisalign offers several benefits over braces. Most notably, Invisalign isn't easily visible. Patients can wear Invisalign aligners without drawing attention to their teeth. Invisalign is also gentle, comfortable, and convenient. The device is removable and customized to fit the teeth of each individual patient. In addition, Dr. Lane can use Invisalign for patients with a range of alignment problems. In many cases, Invisalign can correct alignment problems faster than traditional braces.
How does Invisalign work?
Each patient receives a unique set of Invisalign aligners designed specifically for them. These aligners fit tightly over the teeth and are almost invisible. Patients will change to a new set of aligners at regular intervals, such as every 7 days. Each set of aligners will shift the teeth slightly. Over time, the teeth will become straighter and more visually appealing. Invisalign aligners shift the patient’s teeth gradually and gently. These devices are designed to exert just the right amount of pressure on the teeth. Because the changes are so gradual, most patients experience very little discomfort during treatment.
How does Dr. Lane attach Veneers?
Before attaching a veneer, Dr. Lane begins by removing a small amount of enamel from the tooth to prepare it. She will then roughen the surface of the tooth to ensure a good bond with the veneer. Once the tooth is prepared, Dr. Lane will fit the veneer to the tooth, evaluate the quality of the fit, and make any necessary changes. Finally, she will cement the veneer into place.
What are Veneers?
Veneers are thin pieces of plastic or porcelain used to change the color or shape of the teeth. Dr. Lane cements veneers over the front of the teeth to hide defects and/or improve the appearance of the patient’s smile.
How long do Veneers last?
When the patient takes good care of their veneers, they may last for as long as 15 years. However, most patients will eventually need to replace their veneers. If a patient cracks or chips a veneer, repair isn’t usually possible. In such cases, early replacement of veneers is the best option.
How does professional Teeth Whitening work?
During a professional whitening procedure, Dr. Lane uses a special whitening agent to remove stains from the teeth. She applies this agent to the teeth and it remains in place throughout treatment. Dr. Lane typically uses a UV light to activate the whitening agent. In most cases, professional whitening is completed during a single session.
