About Alexa Moccia, DMD
Dr. Alexa Moccia received her undergraduate training at Boston University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She continued her studies in Boston and received her DMD from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. She was involved with Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity and was a member of the American Student Dental Association. After dental school she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. There she received a Sunshine Award and was nominated for Trainee of the Year. During her residency she was able to work and learn side-by-side with different dental specialties, including endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. She has continued her education by attending CE courses and expanding her knowledge of functional occlusion with the Dawson Academy. Dr. Moccia is very excited to be part of the Seminole Dental Team and is determined to provide exceptional care and high quality dentistry. Our team is a highly-trained group dedicated to providing excellent dental care. Each patient can expect outstanding customer care and high quality dentistry from the receptionist and entire team. Our clinical team consists of Sheryl, Susan, Ashley, Amy, Amanda and Luis.
