About Aerlyn G. Dawn, MD
Dr. Aerlyn Dawn is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Dawn completed his dermatology training at the University Pennsylvania and then completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and dermatologic surgery. He has extensive experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, reconstructive surgery, and a wide variety of cosmetic procedures. Dr. Dawn is a member of the prestigious American College of Mohs Surgery. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, and as a dermatology representative to the American Medical Association. Dr. Dawn has taught medical students and residents at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland, Wake Forest University, and Cooper University Hospital. He has authored more than thirty medical journal articles and book chapters and has given numerous presentations at national dermatology and dermatologic surgery meetings.
