About Adeyiza O. Momoh, MD
Adeyiza O. Momoh, M.D. serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery and as the Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency Program Director in the Section of Plastic Surgery at Michigan Medicine. Dr. Momoh received his BS in Biology from Calvin College and his M.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed his plastic surgery training at the Baylor College of Medicine, Michael E. DeBakey department of surgery. Following this, he spent a year of fellowship training in microsurgical breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, Plastic Surgery Research Council, Reed O. Dingman Society, Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons, and American Council of Academic Surgeons. Dr. Momoh specializes in all forms of breast reconstruction and has a particular interest in microsurgical breast reconstruction, utilizing a variety of perforator flaps such as the DIEP, SIEA and SGAP flaps. Additional areas of clinical focus include breast augmentation, breast lifts and body procedures for mothers aimed at restoration of form following pregnancy.
