About Zoran Potparic
Dr. Zoran Potparic is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon with extensive experience in plastic surgery for over 35 years. He is double board certified in plastic surgery in Europe and in the United States. Dr. Potparic started his plastic surgery career in Europe and then continued his course in the U.S. after completing all necessary requirements, including certification by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Potparic completed residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in numerous surgery centers in Europe; including Barcelona, Lausanne, Saravejo, Beograd, Getenborg, Ljubljana, and Oxford. This was followed with further education in the United States where he completed over 4 years of fellowship training in cosmetic oculoplastic, craniofacial, hand, and microsurgery. Dr. Potparic has special interest and expertise in cosmetic surgery of the face, neck, nose, eyelids, breasts, and abdomen. Before starting his private practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1999, Dr. Potparic had a long academic career as a professor of plastic surgery both in Europe and in the U.S. His last academic appointment was as an associate professor of plastic surgery at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. He is the author and co-author of over 30 peer reviewed papers and book chapters pertaining to the field of plastic surgery. Based on his bench and clinical research, Dr. Potparic has pioneered several surgical techniques still currently used in plastic surgery practices today. During the course of his work in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Potparic has been awarded with the prestigious Fullbright Scholarship, British Council Fellowship, Marko Godina Fellowship, and Spanish Government Fellowship.
