About Zein E. Obagi
Visionary and pioneer of the philosophy and science of skin health, Zein Obagi, M.D. represents the best of the ZO® Skin Health Circle™. Dr. Obagi is internationally recognized as a leading skincare expert, award-winning inventor, educator, and author of Obagi Skin Health Restoration and Treatment, and The Art of Skin Health Restoration and Rejuvenation, 2nd Edition. Dr. Obagi attended and earned his medical degree from Damascus Medical School. Afterward, he completed an internship at Deaconess Hospital in Detroit, MI. During his first residency, Dr. Obagi focused on pathologies at the Williams Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oaks, MI. He also served as a Naval medical officer, resident in dermatology, and staff dermatologist for the United States Navy in Honolulu, HI, San Diego and Long Beach, CA. Dr. Obagi is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology; a member of the American Medical Association; the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery; the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery; the International Society of Dermatology; the Society of Investigative Dermatology and the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery.
