About Yaella Aronhime, DMD
Dr. Yaella Aronhime was raised in Baltimore, MD. She attended University of Maryland, College Park from where she graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Environmental Science and Technology. Upon shadowing a dentist, she was amazed to learn that dentistry combined medicine with artistry and immediately knew she wanted to be a dentist, despite almost fainting during the procedure. Dr. Aronhime received her DMD degree from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Aronhime then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Veteran’s Affair hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. She found it extremely rewarding to work with veterans and had a wonderful experience there. Dr. Aronhime currently resides in Philadelphia, with her husband, two sons, and a large hound dog. One day she hopes to have free time again to pursue her hobbies of racquetball and basketball.
