About Wayne E. Walcott, DDS
Dr. Wayne Walcott graduated from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 1975, and received his masters degree in restorative dentistry in 1982. He holds a faculty appointment at the School of Dentistry as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Cariology, Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics. He has been on the clinical faculty since 1978. He is the recipient of several teaching awards given by his students over the years. Dr. Walcott recently retired as a Colonel, in the United States Army Reserve after a 30-year career; his last appointment was as Chief of Dental Services, 323` Combat Support Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and Washtenaw District Dental Association. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the F.B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthdontics.
