About Walter Ngaji-Okumu, DDS
Dr. Walter Okumu provides quality dental care in all segments of general dentistry, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services. With years of experience coupled by a dedication to quality care, Dr. Okumu continues to provide life-changing smiles to patients of all ages. He has a gentle chairside manner, treating everyone with the same care that he would want to be treated with. Dr. Okumu is experienced in treating adults, children, geriatric, and special needs patients. Dr. Okumu earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Before receiving his DDS, he earned his Master of Science (MS) in Dental/Biomaterials from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from State University of New York at New Paltz. Dr. Okumu most recently completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) in dentistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Okumu is affiliated with the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Special Care Dentistry Association. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Okumu enjoys reading, singing, and playing soccer. He is fluent in English, Luo, and Kiswahili.
