About Vincent B. Defina, DMD
Dr. Vincent DeFina joined the practice as an Associate Dentist in July of 2011. He is a Greenwich native, graduating from Greenwich High School is 2000. He then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. After a couple of years in medical/dental research he went on to the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. During his time there, he received awards in orofacial pain and implant dentistry. Following graduation, he attended the University of Florida's Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, one of the most well regarded residencies in the country. There he attended the prestigious Dawson Academy and Pankey Institute, focusing on TMJ therapy and esthetic dentistry. During his residency, Dr. DeFina completed over 400 hours of continuing education and earned his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. DeFina is dedicated to upholding the high standards of the practice and continuing the family tradition of excellence in dentistry.
