About Travis E. Walding, DDS
Dr. Travis E. Walding is originally from Abilene, TX but has called Houston home since 2014. Dr. Walding completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from Abilene Christian University before earning his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, a program that is considered one of the top dental schools in the country. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry and it’s local Houston chapter. Dr. Walding stays active within these professional organizations by serving on multiple committees which helps to advance the profession of dentistry in Houston. With his commitment to continuing education, he is always keeping up with the most recent advancements in dentistry to provide treatment options that are the most appropriate for maintaining the health of his patients. Most importantly, Dr. Walding takes a personable approach towards his practice and each patient to ensure that they feel comfortable with all aspects of their dental care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Walding serves on the board of directors of the Back Porch Foundation, a nonprofit organization that he helped established along with friends of his from college. He is also involved with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where he serves as a member of the Mutton Bustin’ committee. In his free time, Dr. Walding is usually chasing around his toddler son Eli with his wife Emily and their dog Noodles, but tries to get in a round of golf whenever time allows. He is in the office Monday thru Friday for appointments and is available after hours and on weekends for emergency situations if needed.
