About Thomas J. Oberg, MD
Dr. Thomas J. Oberg is an experienced oculo-facial plastic surgeon, who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. Dr. Oberg, originally from Long Island, NY, served in the Marine Corps before pursuing an education and career in oculo-facial plastics. He received a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona and his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Oberg completed his residency in ophthalmology and earned a distinguished research award at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. He went on to a fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at the Center for Facial Appearances in Salt Lake City, UT. He has concentrated on facial plastic surgery since that time. Dr. Oberg enjoys combining state-of-the-art technology with compassionate care to deliver optimal patient results. His comprehensive approach to oculo-facial plastic surgery includes facial cosmetic procedures, as well as treatment of facial fractures and facial trauma, cancer reconstruction, orbital surgery, and tear drain surgery. Dr. Oberg offers a range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face, including facelift surgery to restore a youthful appearance. He also performs non-surgical cosmetic treatments, including injectables such as Botox, Xeomin, Kybella, and Dysport as well as dermal fillers such as Radiesse, Voluma, Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane, and Perlane. As an experienced surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive aspects of the face, Dr. Oberg is uniquely qualified to utilize both surgical and minimally invasive treatments to enhance natural beauty, reduce signs of aging, and provide rejuvenation. When he is not helping patients, Dr. Oberg enjoys spending time camping, fishing and exploring nature with his wife and two young children.
