About Thomas Huynh, DMD
Dr. Tho (Thomas) Huynh is a General dentist with nearly two decades of experience and has an extensive background in oral surgery, periodontal surgery, oral rehabilitation, implant placement and comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Huynh completed his undergraduate education in 1993 at Haverford College with a Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology/Immunology and received specialized training in Infectious Diseases and Endocrinology from Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts in 1994. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from TUFTS University in May of 2000 and proceeded to begin his General Residency in July of 2000 at the Naval Dental Center- Great Lakes where he later completed the course in May of 2001. Dr. Huynh has been awarded numerous awards during his time serving for the U.S. Navy which include Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Service Medal, Expert Marksman, Overseas Services and the Armed Forces Combat Casualty Care Course Recipient. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, conducted research pertaining to “Intraosseous Implantation of Irradiated Mandibles” sponsored by the American Dental Association in Chicago, Illinois and has been Voted America’s Best Dentist in 2009, 2010 and 2011! Dr. Huynh is fluent in Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and when he is not practicing dentistry enjoys sailing, cooking, traveling, discussing politics and working with computers.
