About Theresa Frank, DDS
Dr. Theresa Frank has been a life long student. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a major in Computer and Information Science and serious study in Music. She worked several years as a programmer before she decided to become involved with health care. Dr. Frank took her pre-dental courses at Stanford University and graduated from The Arthur Dugoni University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Since graduation from dental school, she has practiced in Sunnyvale, in the heart of Silicon Valley for over 25 years. Dr. Frank continues to study in various areas to stay up-to-date for providing her patients excellent care and a broad range of services. She has taken many courses over the years in restorative treatments including bonding and implant dentistry and in preventive care. She has studied with Align Technology and is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign, invisible braces. Over the last few years, Dr. Frank has devoted herself to the study of Sleep Disordered Breathing including Sleep Apnea and Oral Facial Pain including TemporoMandibular Disorders (OFP/TMD). Her studies include completion of two Mini-Residencies at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Sleep Medicine and OFP/TMD and another Mini-Residency in Sleep Dental Medicine at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Theresa Frank has memberships in many professional organizations: The American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the National Sleep Foundation, and the Headache Cooperative of the Pacific. Dr. Theresa Frank lives in Sunnyvale with her husband. Her husband works in the health care field providing customer support for a medical device company. Her son attends University of the Pacific Dental School and her daughter majors in Nutrition and Gerontology at California Polytechnic University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo.
