About Tessa Buchanan, DDS
Tessa Buchanan, D.D.S was born and raised in AuGres, Michigan. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in biology at Wayne State University, she completed four years of postgraduate education at the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry. She began her practice of dentistry in Bay City with Health Delivery, Inc. in 2004, a federally funded community health center treating and educating the underserved. After almost a year of public service at Northwest Community Health Agency, another facility providing dental care through local health departments in northern Michigan, she joined the Family Dental Center opening her own practice. In 2005 Dr. Buchanan took over the practice of Dr. David Warren. Dr. Buchanan maintains the same quality of care while incorporating new and innovative ideas, offering a wide variety of services. Dr. Buchanan is married to Dr. Scott Vandenbelt, an ophthalmologist in Bay City. They have three children, Clara, Grant and Laura. They enjoy spending time with family and friends at their cottage in AuGres.
