About Teresa M. Scott, DDS

Teresa M. Scott, DDS is a unique kind of dentist. First and foremost, she LISTENS. She listens so she can best understand YOUR unique dental needs. She takes a gentle and compassionate holistic approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education on the oral/systemic health connection. Reasoning that an educated patient is likely to make better decisions about their dental care, she strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using her skilled training and the latest advances in dental technology. Recognizing that modern allopathic dentistry still uses toxic mercury, Dr. Scott has ensured we are a mercury safe office by becoming SMART certified by the IAOMT & Board certified by the IABDM. She regularly takes classes from both the IABDM & IAOMT, as well as additional continuing Dental Education in general dentistry. An honors graduate of St. Pius X High School, and University of St. Thomas here in Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, she went on to extend her education, receiving her doctorate from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School. She received both the Jurisprudence Award, and the Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry while still in dental school. She is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Women Dentists, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the International Academy of Biological and Dental Medicine, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the Holistic Dental Association and the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health
