About Summer M. Young
I was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I left to do my undergraduate studies here in California and went on to pursue a career in medicine. Every day that I come to work affirms my belief that I made the right career choice. I derive a wonderful sense of accomplishment and a great deal pride from helping others. I love being able to share my knowledge about skin conditions as well as my medical expertise with members like you. Our department staff— from the receptionists to the medical assistants—will greet you with respect and courtesy. The physicians, nurse practitioner, and nurses will strive to provide you with high-quality care. We want not only to treat you, but also to educate you on your condition and involve you as much as possible in your treatment. We do this with caring and compassion, treating you as a family member.
