About Sulochana S. Bhandarkar, MD
Dr. Bhandarkar Originally from India, Dr. Bhandarkar has earned widespread trust and respect of patients and peers alike. She has authored and published several peer-reviewed journal articles and has lectured on numerous dermatologic conditions including several board review courses for Internists. She has volunteered her time to various medical camps in India where she has provided free consultation and medications to underserved patients. She has also volunteered for numerous skin cancer screenings and health fairs throughout Georgia and currently volunteers at the Volunteer Health Clinic in Austin on a regular basis. She is also the co-director of a nonprofit that empowers high school students to be motivated and lead meaningful lives. Dr. Bhandarkar is an avid traveler, swimmer and runner. During her free time, she enjoys learning an Indian string instrument called sitar, and spending time with her family.
