About Steven R. Weiss
Steven R. Weiss, MD has been a dermatologist in Beverly Hills, CA for the past 30 years. In addition to his expertise in medical and surgical dermatology, he has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology. Specific areas of interest include: Botox treatments, filler treatments (such as Juvederm and Restylane), sclerotherapy for leg veins, photorejuvenation treatments and lasers for various applications including removal of unwanted facial blood vessels, and hair removal. Dr. Weiss is board certified in Dermatology as well as Internal Medicine. During his internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles he received The Doctor Ben Newman Award, given to the medical resident who best demonstrates the physicianly qualities of sensitivity, humanism, empathy and understanding. He was chief resident during his last year of dermatology training at The University of California, San Diego. In addition, Dr. Weiss is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the School of Medicine at UCLA as well as a past chief of the division of dermatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In addition to his practice and administrative responsibilities, he teaches UCLA Dermatology Residents and medical students. He was a member of a delegation of the American Academy of Dermatology to lobby Congress in Washington, D.C. on several national health care issues.
