About Steven Markham, DDS
Dr. Steven Markham grew up in Huntington Beach where he spent his time surfing and playing volleyball but also visited Idaho for a month every summer to visit the potato farming side of the family. After a year of college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah he spent two years serving as a missionary for his church in Santiago, Chile where he learned to love the scriptures and fell in love with preaching the Gospel in Spanish. In 2000 he completed a bachelor's degree in Biology after three years in Provo and a year at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. In 2004 he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious University of Southern California where his Grandfather was an alumnus and in the 1970's was an instructor. He is a 3rd generation dentist and loves practicing all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Markham trained extensively with Dr. Brock Rondeau of London, Ontario Canada for Orthodontic/TMD/Sleep Apnea treatment. He has also trained with several Surgeons for Dental Implant Placement including Dr. Ken Hebel, Dr. Arun Garg, and Dr. Neal Patel. He is very committed to service in his church and community. He teaches Sunday School at Church and recently sponsored the Yucaipa High School Varsity Football Team. Dr. Markham and his beautiful wife Carrie have an eleven year old daughter and a nine year old son. They love living in Yucaipa with Sara, Ben, and their dogs.
