About Steven L. Cohen, DDS
Dr. Cohen has been practicing dentistry in the Almaden Valley since 1992 and is a third generation dentist. He received his dental training at Georgetown University and the University of Southern California. His undergraduate degrees are in music and biochemistry and molecular biology. Before becoming a dentist, Cohen worked as a musician, both performing and recording. Music is still a big part of his life. He serves as chairman of the membership committee at the Santa Clara County Dental Society, a member of the Santa Clara County Forensic Dental Identification Team and is involved with the Council on Membership at the California Dental Association. Dr. Cohen is the staff dentist at Caremeridian, a head trauma and spinal cord injury center in Gilroy, California. He is also on the board of directors of Young Audiences, a non-profit organization that is the largest provider of arts education for school children ( K-12 ) in the Bay Area.
