About Shweta Tawde, DDS
Dr. Shweta Tawde is proud to serve members of the Sealy, Columbus, Eagle Lake and surrounding communities with general and specialized prosthodontic care. She takes immense pleasure in providing quality patient care to kids and families. With an overall goal of improving her patients’ oral health, she firmly believes in the importance of top-quality dental care and patient education. Her goal is to inspire her patients to improve and maintain their oral hygiene practices. Also, she makes sure her patients understand their dental treatment options and that they are comfortable with their choices. Dr.Shweta Tawde graduated from University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston from Graduate Prosthodontics Department. During her 4-year Residencyshe gained didactic experience in Clinical Prosthodontics achieved with emphasis on Fixed and Implant Prosthodontics as well as Removable Prosthodontics. Extensive treatment planning, TMJ disorders, Complete Oral Rehabilitation and Clinical research have been the core of the residency training. She completed her Rotation at University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Dental Oncology. She won the prestigious Cooksey Award Trophy, March 2013 for ‘Digital Complete Dentures’. The Cooksey Award honors excellence in scientific table clinic presentations every year at the Star of The South Conference meeting hosted by the Greater Houston Dental Society. And won the Second Prize in the Dentist Category for ‘Digital Complete Dentures’ at the Star of the South Table Clinic Presentation, March 2013. Dr. Shweta Tawde is a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontics. She is an Indian in origin and have lived in Houston for the past 16 years. She resides in Katy with her husband and 2 kids.
