About Shria Dhaon, DDS
Dr. Dhaon is originally from New Delhi, India. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles, California. Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Dhaon successfully completed her residency in prosthodontics from India. At USC, she excelled in oral surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Dhaon moved to Austin, Texas, to join her husband and their dog, Rupert. Dentistry is her passion, and she's excited to work and apply all of her past experiences to bringing perfect smiles to her patients. When Dr. Dhaon is not working, she keeps her adrenalin going by hiking, traveling around the world, enjoying different cuisines, and scuba diving. Yes, she gets a kick out of immersing herself in the mysteries and adventures of the deep sea with her husband! Coming from a family with three generations of doctors, Dr. Dhaon has grown up seeing her father and grandfather work to improve community health. She keeps her family legacy going by volunteering in dental clinics around the Austin community.
