Five years ago, Sherry York started brewing. She already had 14 years of esthetics experience, pampering and caring for the skin of her loyal clients. She had perfected the art of carefully selecting products to use on every skin type, attune to every personal preference and every slight variation to give each of her clients a unique and exceptional experience. But even with all of her experience in selecting the perfect products, the most important client of her life had much more specific needs. My mom, while she was going through chemotherapy... I had to remember what she was sensitive to and remove all of that. Make it as natural as possible. Her love of skincare suddenly collided with her love of chemistry. And the last five years evolved into House of York Beauty. Over these years, Sherry fervently worked in her own kitchen – experimenting, concocting, perfecting –her own products. Her family and friends have been appreciative guinea pigs, happy to accept the variety of products she constantly produces. I'm home tonight. I've got a fire going, and I'm brewing.
